OUR MISSION

Our vases are 3D-printed using a recycled bioplastic made from renewable resources such as corn starch, sugarcane, and cassava roots. Instead of ending up as waste, this recycled bioplastic is given a new life in the form of modern, letter-shaped vases that bring both style and meaning into your home.

By choosing this material, we reduce the need for virgin plastic production, lower CO₂ emissions, and help close the loop on plastic waste. The result is a product that is not only durable and biodegradable under industrial conditions, but also made with minimal environmental impact.

But our mission goes beyond materials.

For every vase sold, Vira Creations donates to The Plastic Bank — an organization that empowers communities around the world to collect and recycle ocean-bound plastic. Each purchase helps remove over 30 plastic bottles from nature, transforming waste into new opportunities for people and the planet.

At Vira Creations, we believe sustainability should be beautiful.
With every vase, you’re not just decorating your space — you’re making a difference.

Crafted from waste, shaped into meaning.

About

Our founder -  Elvira Schinkel

Vira Creations was founded by Elvira, a mechanical engineer with a deep passion for 3D printing, design, and sustainability.

'With a background in mechanical engineering, I’ve always been fascinated by the way technology can bring ideas to life, especially when it can do so responsibly.

Over the years, my curiosity for innovation and materials led me to explore 3D printing as a creative outlet. I was drawn not only to its precision and versatility but also to its potential to reshape how we think about production and waste. That’s how Vira Creations was born, from the belief that design and sustainability can, and should, go hand in hand.'
